Backヒムロックの声に聞き惚れながら、ミニコンポでこの曲を聴いていた時のことです。 ヒムロックのセクシーさ圧巻部分、「ON THE WING WITH~」のところをたまたま僕の部屋に入ってきた母が耳にして、ポソッと言いました。 「あら、秀樹、イメージ変わったわね・・・」 そのあと母はおもむろに洗濯物を置いて、何食わぬ顔して出て行きました。 ぼくは10分ほど、母が何を言おうとしたのか全くわかりませんでした。 そして、気づきました。 「どうやら西城秀樹と間違えてるらしい・・・」
