... legal definition. My last job is responsible for changing my life forever. I am forever in debt to it (though they'll never receive a dime in return for it because they were wankers I no longer care about and they don't realize it anyways).

What needs to be changed in order to destroy a dependency? All the shallow wankers that run it that's what. We wouldn't be in near as much as trouble if we just purge all these little air-heads who have to have all the newest, latest consumer products because they seen it on tv. It's the people who have the problem, not necessarily the banks. They're simply a representative. That's the way I see it, no matter how ill informed. I'm glad I actually looked on the green paper to see its..(Continued)

The problem is, poor people are not going to stop having kids, even if they can't afford them, because the government gives them our tax dollars. As for entitled to things, the media, governement, and society has dictated to people what they are entitled to. Our values of "saving money" have gone down the tube. As for $10/hour, with the mass layoffs, your average "Joe Degree" is going to be forced to work for only $10 - the labor market as follows: too many people + not enough jobs = low wages.

Maybe if you don't have the brain power to make over $10 an hour, you should live within your means. Then you would be forced to use a credit card to buy food. Oh, and stop fucking having kids if you can't afford them. People think they are ENTITLED to stuff like a new car, etc. Fuck that. Work for what you want.

what about people who make $10 an hour busting their balls to pay $500/month for a one-room dump and they can barely afford to survive so they put food on their credit cards? Not everyone can make the national average of $46,000/year - all people don't come from the same neighborhood with the same golden oppurtunities.

We're seeing what happens when mass amounts of people default on their mortgage. Yes, the banks "get the property back." but now they have the property as a liablility. The government should have let those banks collapse. Isn't that part of the "risk" in lending money? Isn't that why they get HUGE interest payments to take on that risk? And then all of a sudden the taxpayers have to bail out the banks for making those business "risks" I say - "FUCK THE BANKS, FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!!"

Fiat Money is debt. Real money would be gold and silver or paper money with gold and silver backing like it used to be and cannot be manipulated or inflated like fiat money. We need to go back to this system. From 1800 to 1914 there was real wealth creation and economic progress because of the stability that a gold and silver backed currency provided.
