Marc and alpha ..i think you are 100% wrong..the bass sounds right on time..and aside from them being s little high or drunk they seem to be digging it :)

Yes it's funny how the whole ovation fad ran it's course in the 70's.They're cool looking guitars but you seldom see them today played by professional musicians.

Agree 100%. Those guitars sound terrible. I've seen other clips where they used Martins or Guilds with mikes to amplify.

The ovation guitars were not very good.Very tinny and artificial sounding. The boys do a great job though but they look like they're not enjoying themselves very much.

I LOVE the little run in the beginning of the song at 0:57.

Great song! This song has one of the most curious lyrics of all time - "the Tropic of Sir Gallahad"? This was one of the first songs I ever learned on the guitar.

I absolutely have to put this in my top 10 of all time tunes. Just so damn pure.

Wow! Clear sound, powerfull chords, brilliant melodies and easy to be listened. This kind of basic rock must have influented present-day bands like Editors, Magic Numbers, Interpol, etc.
