what hapened on this semifinal of gold cup is that the main directives on CONCACAF doesn't want a final match with another team than usa ans mexico. this cup shuld be eliminated because is a total robbery, more than a fifa 2008 tournament.

ok...thank you for telling me about law 11...and yeah, if it was a deflection then it should be offside...but that was no deflection, thats a full on header pass that the defender fucked up on...that was not offside, that was a goal, fuck up by the linesman, what can you, you move on and qualify for the WC...which we will...CANADA 4 LIFE!

Please review Law 11. If the ball deflects off of the defender, there is no resetting of the OS status. If the defender plays and CONTROLS the ball, then the OS status is reset. In this case it was ruled a deflection. Hutchinson may have been On side when the ball was played, but I have not seen a definitive view of the ARs line. Some views look like he is off others look like he is on. That is one of the toughest calls for an AR to make. Glad it wasn't me.

1.) RC is not shown for reckless fouls. It is for Serious Foul Play using excessive force. Still possible in this case, terminology was wrong. 2.) The OS call was too close for anyone except the AR. I have yet to see an angle of play that shows the players' positions at the time the ball was passed. Remember, a deflection off a defender does not reset OS. 3.) A case could be made that the foul against Beasley was SFP and should be RC. These are tough calls, glad I didn't have to make

thats fucking bullshit i didn't even know about this cause I'm too busy watching the European leagues. That was a goal no doubt, i would expect this kind of thing from a European game but at least they make it seem like it was a good call. This was just bullshit and so obvious.
