how would BBC's safety thingy allow them to do this if they wouldn't even allow them to drive an ariel atom without a fleet of safty vessels? Unless they knew this wasn't going to not work. Get my point? See...

there are slow motion videos of lightning originating from the ground and since ur brain works thanks to electrical impulses a lightning strike could affect your motor functions easily

lightning goes wherever it wants, up, down, cloud to cloud. it follows the ion path. the roof i could see, the heat would probably blister the paint, and the blurry vision, maybe.

Wrong, Lightning goes Up, not down. I was hit by lightning while driving home about 8 years ago, car was fine. My vision was all blury for about 10 mins had to pull over and wait until I could see again. Car was fine, apart from a small repaint job on the roof.

people "are" trying to fix things, and i'm sure they will "really" get into fixing things like that, but it will lead to a catastrofy

crash in to power lines... they forgot to say that if it "hapens" never try to exit the car until you are sure the power is cut off. Because if you do try to get out of the car at that moment, you're DEAD. And most of the time if an accident like that hapens, and there is a short circuit at those high voltage power lines. It will cutt OFF automatically and it will turn ON again after couple of seconds, like 3 times in a row. The system is made to make sure if there is a real big problem or not.
