WTF?? wait... dude... omg... old fashioned... bone crushing..... work ethic!.... and he waited til 8:55secs to take it up a notch.... and THEN... as if he has delivered enough...notice the subtle "step back" he takes at min 9:19 to support the next move up... holy mother of gawd.....

there are no words , my feet do the talkin, me and the Mrs close the door on the world on a friday nite order a chinky and loads of wine and dance round the house starkers to this track, we love gettin the train home, from opposite ends of the country witht his blastin in our Ipods, IM COMMIN HOME...AMEN!!!

As far as I'm concerned, this particular performance on this storied occasion defined a generation and remains the greatest, most electrifying, live rock performance of my lifetime. Not pretty, not perfect, just pure, live, raucous energy.

I agree with gajk, talking about drummers on this message board is an insult to this absolutely fret burning performance. I disagree with gajk on the second point. On this night NO ONE could touch Alvin Lee!!!

One of the absolute masterpieces at Woodstock. And in rock history. The energy of the crowd obviously is energizing to all the performers; so many of them seemed to "peak" at this magical setting. It was incredible. Watching Alvin Lee is stunning. And the way it was captured on film is also staggering. I'm out of breath every single time I see this.
