I think it's really cool that these Black people are feeling Neil's music. I am a White vocalist, but I do sing funk, disco, and soul--I must look ridiculous, but I love it. I love all music except for country and rap. You know, the electric guitar started with Black men--Robert Johnson, of course, Buddy Guy, BB King, and others. Have you seen the Eric Clapton Crossroads Festival DVD?--It is SO GOOD.

To compare Neil Young with Lizz Wright Band is to entirely miss the point. I doubt this band even gave it a nano second thought "is our version a better version than Neil's?" It is different. That's all. It's like saying TO is better than Randy Moss. They are both great. I like one of them better and I have an opinion about who is "better" but it is just my opinion. That's all. ~cg5

your forgetting that neil wrote this at a time of huge change in the world. and he wrote this about his inner feelings at a moment in time. he will not look back.. he looks onwards always/ its up to others to judge. he dosent realy give a dam/ thats why neil is so respected/its all about the music..not egos
