I find it kind of odd that even though this version of the series is lightyears more entertaining than the modern series, the modern series follows much closer to the original comic books vision of the TMNT story.

It's difficult to establish a fact of life when the person in question, giving their critiquement, has the verbal skills of someone who watches modern day cartoons.
