Yes this is norwegian and I think it makes sense to have it on the news. It got pretty popular. NRK changed its stance on the Youtube thing after this even subtitling a clip for Youtube.

I'm from Norway, and I'm kinda ashamed that the main newsprogram in my country actually is having a subject like this. But hell, I dig it!

NRK is now going to start posting stuff on youtube - with subtitles I expect. Their reason is that they expect that to lead traffic to their own sites. It would be fantastic if some others could reason the same way ...
