I don't think that it compares to the 2003 TMNT cartoon, but I'm curious to know: when was this originally supposed to air?

seems like it shows pottential. Would have been better than that crappy new animated series that came out in '03. The voices were off. Weird. I like the mirage studios art at the beginning from the first issue. This would have been more for the old school fans.
