thats the difference between an artificial and a natural harmonic,put your finger over the b string 5th fret,but just resting above it,thats a perfect e harmonic,theres loads on the 7th,but the pinched harmonics are everywhere,even where you pick them from matters as in near the neck or the bridge,hope this helps man,dime has his mids way low thats why hes very trebly,my mate has his excact signeture tone in his line 6 ,its awsome,

but there are specific places on the string where you can get the harmonic, if not you wont get it

dude try the 5 th and 7th,but i depends on if you want a natural or a picnched harmonic!atrifiacal are good,just pull ya pick back and pick the string and sweep though in one motion with the edge of your thumb,hope it helps man.got to get the thumb to pass over the string thats where the harmonic comes from"
