Holy crap. I got 2 cats from the pets n pals in staunton. 1 died and 1 had ring worms. Go figure. Didnt know they were supporting puppy mills though.

i don't really understand what a puppy mill is. they are kept in a cage to breed their whole life?

DO NOT PATRONIZE PET STORES THAT SELL PUPPIES!!!!Buy your supplies only at pet stores that don't sell puppies or kittens and/or only sponsor rescue organization adoptions.

the USDA actually financially supports the puppy mill brokers!!! e.g. the Hunte Corporation!!

DO NOT buy a pet from a mall pet store. Breed rescues are a good place to get loving dogs(as stated by othere here) My mall pet shop buys from a puppy mill and isn't ashamed about it.
