Excellent. You have spoken very well and what you have said here has served as a confirmation to me and what I have been going through. People who choose to be indifferent, using prayer (i.e. "don't say anything, let's just pray about it. God will deal with them"), just do not realize they are playing into the enemy's hands. We rebuke because we love and we should do so in love. Those who do not rebuke do not love and may be practitioners of the same sin, which is why they can not rebuke.

Hey NYTN, based on your recent postings you're really maturing. Tribulation has a way of bringin out the best in us. The authentication of your motives has added value to what you do. A favorite word of mine is APPRECIATE which is to increase in value. This is similar to a definition of REBUKE. Scripture says that IRON SHARPENS IRON. Don't worry about the dull folks, you just stand still and see the salvation (deliverance and promotion) of the Lord. The Lord will indeed continue to sharpen you.

cllaury, this emotion and hatred is nothing new to me (I have battle scars!). When people are afraid to deal with certain issues, they begin to make things personal. It's just basic FLESHLY -- and not SPIRITUAL -- behavior.

Excellent Video. It's too bad that some don't understand this.

I am amazed at the type of emotion and hatred toward you because you try to get people to think for themselves. Church leaders are not gods and man makes mistakes. People should leard to read for themselves and have a personal relationship with God. That way it is harder to be led astray. This is true with the Church or everday life.

Why is it every time you try to rebuke you get the finger in the face and the statement "Judge not lest yea be judged". I love the NASB I find it rocks second to the Amplified.

I agree. They act like they're above the law. Hey Tonya, I tried to contact you a couple of days ago to respond to a PM you've sent me, but I was blocked because I'm not on your friend list.

Why is it that church leaders can easily rebuke the membership but some church leaders behave as if they are beyond reproach? Some church leaders act as if somehow the Word doesn't apply to them.
RINGO4LIFE (March 3rd, 2008 @ 5:35 pm)
Good word.
