Monkeyboy do u know how an auto box works. A Semi Auto still utilises the same auto gearbox properties. Except instead of it using a cheap torque convertor they use either another gear set to shift gears through or use a better torque convertor. Basically an auto box changes gears by using rpm to shift through. because there is less drop in rpm between changes there is LESS STRAIN on the box making it stonger. This is rev matching on downshift creates less strain on a man gearbox

Left foot braking is actually used to shift the weight of the vehicle forward. U actually benefit more from a FWD car from this then RWD as reduces understeer and creates slight oversteer. But of course RWD understeer to. They dont do it because it takes less time between shift or (i dont know where u came up with it) minimises weight transfer. U brake ur cars weight shift forward. U add throttle weight shifts back.

The guy's a great driver; he just hasn't had any experience using left-foot braking in his drift cars. If he had, he would he would be using it all the time in a car with a semi-auto box. LF braking is not only quicker over a lap, it's also much smoother as you can blend brakes into throttle and minimise weight transfer. Every F1 driver uses it, as well as all the quick Le Mans and GT drivers where paddle shifts are fitted.

Manuals can take tighter corners because with a stick, you shift to the desired gear immediately.

Errrm... Autoshift Manuals are WEAKER because the gears get jammed in hard, and you can't do anything about it on the fly.

AGAIN and AGAIN, I DONT think so! Keiichi drive very smoothly and, YOU WRONG! Watch the video deeply! Break Pedal is set for the right foot!

Left foot braking reduces the gap between lifting your foot off the throttle and putting it on the brake and vice versa. It reduces your braking distance and ultimately makes exits a lot faster only if you know what you're doing. If the car only has two pedals to use instead of three, what the hell is your left foot going to do? There's no clutch to operate if you have paddle shifters.

Die Vorstellung, am Steuer zu sitzen, erzeugt bei mir eine harte Erektion. Das Crash-Risiko macht mich geil und läßt mich heftig abspritzen. Machs mir gern am Steuer meines BMW 330i.

The paddle shifts are still optional extras on the 430, so you can still have a manual if u wanted and save money by doing so!

It does have a clutch...just no clutch pedal since the paddle shifters do it for you.

so? what is advantage of left foot break? Keiichi driving right foot break with no probrem! >this car is made for braking with your left foot = wrong. watch vid deeply. set in right foot
