The Chance May Never Come Again: Look at Kolzig in 1:29, I'm sure he's feeling that.

wings deserved it. no question about it. rangers are bringing it home this year as soon as sather decides to stop being retarded and finally signs shanny and we fix our powerplay problems. :P

"and oddly enough the only team besides the devils to win from the east in the last 10 years comes from florida" I suppose if you ignore Carolina...

you gave the politically correct answer. but u never said who u thought was better overall. :) well i would say more but i have to warm up my car and finish getting ready for school.

that is a difficult, as well as an interesting question. i think crosby has more leadership and maturity, while jagr was more explosive and gamebreaking, albeit inconsistent at times and his maturity/effort often were questioned. jagr could change speeds like no one i've ever seen and it threw off opponents regularly, while crosby doesn't take a shift off and his quickness/vision often leaves defenders looking around wondering what happened. jagr is prob a better goal scorer, crosby the plymaker

haha, it's no secret why sports illustrated had the avs-wings as the best rivalry of the 90s. if only that would come back again, stuff like that is good for hockey. as a pens fan, its the flyers who get victories rubbed in their faces, philly boasts some of the biggest half-breed fans in sports
Foltz13 (September 10th, 2008 @ 5:41 pm)
yes, it's not hard to tell ur an educated level headed person who thinks with his mind instead of with his emotions. i also dislike asshole fans that brag about winning for no reason and rub it in peoples faces. (unless it's detroit beating colorado cuz it's necessary then :) but now i must ask u a difficult question. better penguins player jagr or crosby? i'll go with jagr but i want to see what u think
grimetime55 (September 10th, 2008 @ 1:24 pm)
trust me, most level-headed pens fans have ceded to the fact that we were beaten by a better team. by the time we had some momentum, it was too late. even after we took game 5, you weathered the storm like great teams do. my aggravation comes from all the wings fans pointing to having triumphed over crosby conspiracies and booking their stanley cup parade plans already. i'm sure normal wings fans know all too well that its very difficult to come out of the west every year
Foltz13 (September 10th, 2008 @ 5:17 am)
yes indeed. every year seems like it could be the year in hockeytown, but we have definitely had some heartbreakers and utterly shocking playoff exits (swept by anaheim in the first round of 2003 after we just won the cup in 2002.) but i am ecstatic for the season to start again cuz it once again it looks like this could be the year. i am not expecting them to win the stanley cup but it's a very good possibility. grimetime thanks for being a good sport about it and not a sour loser.

Washington Capitals didn't have a chance in the Finals against Detriot!
grimetime55 (September 9th, 2008 @ 9:10 pm)
as a pens fan i respect the red wings, especially after the final. what made it bitter was how we breezed through the east only to get stonewalled by what seemed to be a near-flawless team defense. your management has adjusted to the post-lockout well.what i think you should take from history is how often the wings are favored to win. you've won 4 in the last 11, but you should have won probably 8 or 9. as wings fan, i assume you know how difficult it is to come out of the west year after year.
