There´s no mystery. The First Chord is a D4/7. The tab from first string (E) to fourth one (D) is: E---3 (sounding G) B---1 (Sounding C) G---2 (sounding A) D---0 (sounding D) A---X E---X It´s very useful in blues/rock turnarounds.

The mystery of the first chord is recently solved by a mathematician. Apparantly there was also a piano included.
