These are soemexspensive brownies! I can't believe you need 3 sticks of butter,12 oz of bittersweet chocolate and 6 eggs. The flour, sugar and vanilla aren't that expensive since thery are kitchen staples, but Bittersweet chocolate is expensive and 1 lb of butter isn't cheap. Eggs are okay but all that cholesterol from one egg!

I'm a chef, and i made this today, and i will be making it again (tomorrow i think) - its the best brownie i ever tasted, and made!!! Mine were slightly higher so took longer to bake, the skewer test works the best, (insert in the middle and when comes out clean is done). 3 sticks of butter is around 12 oz, so equal parts choc/butter. Thanks for posting....
