it doesnt have to be directly up. it has to be less than 45 degrees and sometimes schlager gets faulted but not often

excepting the side/top-spin serve (as Wang Liqin's), Schlager has the most amazing serves in the world. Practice makes good! Just watch his matches against Samsonov, and compare their serves! Samsonov sucks! It's amazing, because he uses Bryce/Bryce, blade Schlager Carbon. Just try to imagine a Tackifire Special Soft on that impressive forehand!!!

thats rubbish u can get an ok racquet for like 5 pounds and still serve gr8 its not the raquet its the player

It may seem easy for beginners but it´s damn hard to return those serves. I already played vs many pro´s and had a hard time in retutning their serves. After some training I could get 80% back but i could not play really strong returns. Practcie serves guys! Your serve is NEVER good enought.

is people skill dun say his paddle good,i bet he can own you with a wooden racket
