Get individuals who can spend time on the computer to fix it not some big corporation like geeksquad/best buy which tries to service many computers at once I think so they can get profits.

lol, computer repair sucks however the power supply suggestion isn't as retarded as it sounds, if there was a slight problem with the power supply and there was no power going to the hard drive then the computer would produce the same error. I'm sure lots of computer repair people do get complacent and forget to check connections as it is unlikely that they come undone; unless someone unplugs them. :P

geek squad isnt that great for repairs... Independent repairers are always better... Geek squad is good for helping you build a PC or installing parts, but diagnosing isnt something they are good at...
