i phoned for, canvassed and voted for obama in the indiana primary. it was the speech on race that inspired me to volunteer for his campaign. the speech denouncing reverend wright re-affirmed my decision. that's how a leader deals with a situation. this speech brought tears to my eyes at the closing. now i'm part of the voter registration drive and phoning the upcoming states. this cat gets it. america...we've been given a great opportunity to move forward. let's not fuck it up. OBAMA 08!!

I live in Sydney Australia. Obama is truly an inspirational person that shows such commanding leadership! This is history in the making! America should be proud to vote such a candidate as Obama to be your next president! Best of luck - Australia for OBAMA

A fantastic man. I hope and believe he can be the next president of the United States. What I believe and the reality though may differ, but the greatest injustice would be if he lost the vote because of the colour of his skin. The injustice I speak of is not that a mixed race person didn't become the president but because the US and the world at large may have lost the chance of such an inspirational and compassionate leader with the smarts and common sense to heal the world.

I took a break from any interest in the nomination process because I felt so much pain for Senator Obama regarding Rev. Wright and the negativity heaped on by Senator Clinton. But now, well, let's just say I've come out of the shadows and probably feel more enthused than I did before. My cake was still there, but I knew I could save it for later. I did; and it tastes so good!

History has been made. May 6, 2008. Can history and hope collide?
