this a message to bullshido stop will your arrogance . no martial art is better than another we all have 2 arms and 2 legs. if u see any one with more than dat then talk. an mma is not the best. but its effective.

I agree with u 1000% , but there are still schools who just wanna make money and dont care how they train, They just teach you cool kicks, and give you belts, like Karate schools in the mall. This teacher is knowledgable, I can tell, screw any haters. Keep training guys. Ahmitoefo!

They aren't right about anything. YOU are right that to be a great martial artist takes a lot of serious training. The problem isn't usually with the schools as the owners encourage dedication. The problem is with the fact that most of the people signing up don't have the heart to become serious martial artists. They are only willing to train a couple of nights a week recreationally. Thats a problem more with the way many people typically are, not with school owners.

I think all martial arts can be great fighting arts if they are trained in a realistic manner with tons of dedication. No two nights a week bull crap. Hell, ive seen Tai chi guys who could fight really well, its rare, but possible. Traditional martial arts have gone to shit in the last century. What ever happened to embodying a MA? I dont like all of Bullshidos stuff, but they are correct, they are tooo many Mcdojos out there

And I suppose we're going to allow mitsubishi blades bone breaks and kill moves etc... or are you proposing sticking to mma or such sporting rules in this event? Maybe it would settle it, but I wouldn't bet my life on that.
silentfist862 (October 22nd, 2008 @ 10:57 pm)
I think the quickest way to settle it would be for one of the Bullshido guys to fight Anshu Hayes and see what happens.

Ah, I see the similarities as some of the techniques shown in this video incorporates some of the kihon no kobudo taught in Bujinkan.
WaiteDavid137 (October 19th, 2008 @ 2:54 pm)
Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is Hatsumi's martial art focused on passing on the anchient martial arts of the ninja. Hayes had significant martial arts training before he trained in Bujinkan and after achieving 10th degree in it created his own martial art called ToShinDo. Toshindo heavily encorporates Taijutsu, but has more focus on the psychological aspects of encountering attacks and encorporates some of Hayes' other training. There are similarities, but to see the difference watch demos of each.

I'm not trying to cause any trouble, I'm just a person who is in seek of knowledge but what is the difference between Bujinkan and Toshindo?
WaiteDavid137 (October 14th, 2008 @ 11:29 pm)
Yeah, this fancy demo was only a very small end portion to his training video, which was actually almost all simple boxing and grappling type drills. The Bullshido poster was teasing how stupid simple one such basic boxing style drill was and so I posted this demo.

WaiteDavid137 thank you so much for posting this video of Mr Hayes . I am now 40 years of age and have been in the martial arts for 33 years and have been a fan of Anshu Hayes . 5+ stars for the video . I like how Anshu Hayes says he would like to post something fancy for ego but posts what is realistic training and how it would not be pretty in a realistic situation. Excellent.

In this case I think posting what I did was better. As far as ignoring goes, I often do that too.
