Suis pas d'accord! C'est une superbe adaptation du mythe de l'amour passion et de ses conséquences déchirantes, à la Roméo et Juliette. Je trouve très heureux la dimension qui fait état du racisme systémique aux États-Unis envers les émigrants (les Latinos n'ont pas un accès égal aux emplois, etc.). Si les effets spéciaux ont perdu de leur effet spectaculaire, au moins ils sont signifiants dans le développement de l'histoire, ce qui fait qu'on peut toujours les apprécier.

If you watch the dance, the guys are commenting on how they see America as being 'two faced' - as in one minute it's all smiles - the "la-la-la" bit of the dance all fake smiles, only for America to then slap you in the face or kick your butt! Please note that this is just my dance interpretation and not meant to offend anyone! Anyway - this my favourite musical piece of the movie - this and "Officer Krupke"! Oh and maybe "I feel pretty" as well! And Rita Moreno is simply gorgeous here.
